Tearfund Events
Having recently launched the Discovery process, designed to help your church become a transforming influence within your community, we are currently planning free "taster" sessions for church leaders as well as facilitator training days.
Please contact discovery@tearfund.org or phone 0845 521 0021 for details of the events below or if you are interested in arranging a course near you...

Come and meet representatives of Connected Church partner PAG from
Uganda - hear stories of transformation and how you can be involved.
This is an opportunity to learn from each other. PAG’s vision is to
help people work together to make the most of their limited resources,
rather than wait for outside help to arrive. PAG’s staff will share
personal stories of how they’ve witnessed spiritual and physical
transformation through community development.

In the UK one in four women is a victim of domestic abuse and a woman is assaulted in her own home every 6 SECONDS. This is a day to do something about it.
As well as outstanding speakers (Elaine Storkey, Catherine Clark Kroeger, Mandy Marshall, Peter Grant) and the launch of RESTORED, a new Christian Alliance of Christians Ending Violence Against Women, there will be a theatre production, music performances, resources, lunch, market place and testimonies.
For those of the Christian faith this conference will enable you and your church to more effectively understand and support those suffering.
For those of other faith backgrounds, or a non faith position, working in any capacity with those involved in domestic abuse, this conference will enable you to more fully support those coming from a Christian faith perspective.
