FInding strength for the way

Livability held a quiet day at Mirfield on July 9th 2009 which was led by Gordon Dey.

The aim was to provide time and space for those involved in community transformation to begin to rediscover God’s resources and replenish their spiritual energy. There were times of guided thought and ample opportunities to reflect, pray and rest.

Gordon Dey, Vicar of Tong and Holme Wood since 1984, is passionate about Christian ministry to social housing estates. He believes that the church must be Jesus-Shaped in its life and work. Gordon’s other passions are cricket, music and leading Christian pilgrimages and holidays.

You can read some of the prayers and reflections used on the day.
