Privacy & security

We take the privacy of our customers and website users very seriously and take great care with the information we obtain. We regret, though, that internet transmissions should never be regarded as completely private or secure. On placing an order you authorise us to transmit and update information about you and to obtain from third parties other information that will include but not be limited to your Debit or Credit Card number Card Authorisation Validation and Authentication and Credit Report. All information and details provided by you must be true, accurate, complete and up to date. No contract shall exist between you and us until we confirm acceptance of your order by email. We do not store financial details (credit or debit card numbers).

Venues and dates

It is sometimes necessary for us to change a date or venue, if this is the case, we will inform you as soon as possible and undertake to give you reasonable notice.

Cancellation Policy

One day training events: We work hard to keep our events low-cost and events are often fully booked so we can only offer a cash refund within the statutory seven days after you receive the booking confirmation. Our general policy is not to offer a cash refund for any cancellation or non-attendance. For cancellations received more than 10 working days before the event we are happy for you to give your place to someone else or switch your booking to another event, but we cannot offer a refund or event credit for a cancellation or non-attendance less than 10 working days before the event. Please note, we cannot accept cancellations made over the phone, please email jclark@livability.org.uk.

Residential events: We are happy to offer a full-refund if you cancel up to three months in advance (usually the same date that the early booking period finishes). After that date you may give your place to someone else, but we cannot offer any refund for a cancellation or non-attendance.

If for any reason we have to cancel the event we will inform you by email and let you know when the event is rearranged, offer you a place on another event or offer a full refund.

Purchasing online

Returns policy

We will, of course, honour your statutory rights. If you do change your mind within seven days and return the materials in good condition at your own expense we will refund the money.

Pricing and availability

When you place an order with Community Mission we will send you an email confirming receipt and containing the details of your order. As we process your order, we will inform you by email if any products you order turn out to be unavailable. All prices stated are in pounds sterling and include VAT. Postage and packing charges are as indicated on the website. Where an inadvertent error arises in any stated price we reserve the right to correct it and will offer you the opportunity to cancel your order or proceed at the correct price.

Dispatch and delivery

Your order will be processed within five working days of receipt, sent out by second class post and should be received by you within two or three weeks. We will arrange delivery to any UK Postal area including Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands and any overseas location within the range of our appointed international carrier. Please provide and double-check your address details.

If your delivery fails to arrive within four weeks, please email jclark@livability.org.uk including your order number in the email.
