    Operates various services for asylum seekers and refugees whilst also helping the local community and breaking down barriers between groups. Also offers a pupil to pupil mentoring service

  • Colinton Mains Parish church, Edinburgh    
    Running the Just People course changed people's understanding of outreach from being narrow to more holistic.  Helping out with the local primary school for the course Day of Action prompted one mum to be able to respond proudly,'That's my church!'

  • Destiny Angels, Glasgow - showing God's love one person at a time
    Destiny Church run a helpline and offer food hampers, furniture and friendship - all clearly attached to the church

  • Newcraigs Evangelical Church, Kirkcaldy - strategic help from outside can make all the difference
    How the church enlisted help from a Tearfund process to enable them to shift their focus outwards in a coherant way

  • Renfield St Stephen's - letting God's grace lead you
    Renfield St Stephen is a congregation in Glasgow committed to assessing the needs of the groups around the church and currently offering a meeting space and cafe and working with the business and other local communities.

  • St Rollox, Glasgow - proving that it is possible to maintain good links between a successful project and the church
    Runs an asylum seeker support service offering a shop, language, computer training and  practical services in the church, with a Christian ethos, as well as hosting a range of other services to benefit clients.
