About Inside Out

Inside Out is a six week course produced by Evangelical Alliance, Livability and Tearfund to equip churches and small groups to integrate their words and actions to help bring change to their communities locally and globally.

The course is designed to enable groups to explore just how big God's mission is and discover what part we each have to play within it.  It is called Inside Out because we believe the key to changing our communities is found in allowing ourselves to be transformed.  As we allow God to change us on the inside, external change can't be far off.  We believe God is in the business of partnership and that Inside Out is a great way of making ourselves available to be used by our Father as individuals and congregations.

It has been developed by merging Square Mile, an Evangelical Alliance resource and Just People which was produced by Livability & Tearfund resource.
Those who have previously run either of these courses will find some material they recognise, but much of the material is new and there are many additional items, both in terms of teaching films, prayer materials and case studies.

You will find teaching from a range of top speakers and practitioners such as Tom Wright, Elaine Storkey, Tim Keller, Mark Melluish, Chris Wright, Celia Apeagyei-Collins, Shane Claiborne, Jim Wallis, Al Gordon, J John, Pete Greig and Mark Greene, as well as a range of inspiring stories and case studies from around the country.

What you need to run the course:

  • You will need to purchase a copy of the DVD - this contains the majority of the teaching films and case studies.
  • You will need to register to access some of the course material on the site.    This is to enable us to monitor how the site is used and to help us work out what is proving popular so that we can develop and refine the materials in the future.  Please do provide us with all the information we ask for - it is for your benefit in the long run!
